"Heros Wanted!"

We went to LegoLand on Easter for a special laser/water show. It was pretty cool. The logo for LegoLand right now is Heros Wanted so everything is about heros. The laser show was about Batman!

These are the Lego Easter Island, they sing We Will Rock You.

This is one of the turrets of the main castle which leads to The Dragon rollercoaster.

This is the Hansel and Gretel section of Storybrook Land.

This is Katrine and I pretending to be afraid of drowing on the Storybrook Land Ride!

Mall River

All the "malls" here are half indoors and half outdoors...it's amazing really...like downtown Vancouver but with no cars. We went to a huge one in a town nearby called Reading (pronounced Redding). We didn't even go in half the stores before we all got tired. And that took 3 hours!!!! This is a shot of me and the girls by the river that runs through the middle of the shopping center!

*So the internet was out for quite some time here. And in that time quite a lot of photos we're taken. So I am going to make a few posts right now...to keep everything organzied.*

This post is about how Katrine and I, using the new Jamie Oliver cookbook made everyone dinner. It was excellent! See for yourself...

This is the table. Dosn't it look pretty?

This is the finished product. It is macaroni and cheese with four different types of cheese and it is amazing. The salad has three types of lettuce, carrot, and cook green beans in it and the dressing is a balsamic that we made from scratch.

This is Katrine and I in the middle of mixing the merangue. It is supposed to be thick enough that you can hold the entire bowl upside down oever your head without it falling on you!

This is me tipping the merangue over my head...it didn't move even a little. Katrine and I were pretty proud!

This is the desert. It is called an Eton Mess.

It has raspberries, strawberries, double cream, crushed up merangue, vanila seed, and roasted almonds in it.

Windsor

We went shopping in Windsor yesterday. The shopping centre is basically right next to the castle. I'm going to go on a tour of the castle very soon! Part of the the mall is built inside an old train station...it is very cool!!
